Menoufia University announces the results of the university’s participation in the karate championship within the games of the 51st Martyr Al-Rifai Tournament at Ain Shams University

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the university participated in the “male-female” karate championship, which was hosted by Ain Shams University during the period from 4 to 6 March as part of the activities of the fifty-first sports session for Egyptian universities, in the presence of nearly 1,000 participants representing 39 universities. Governmental, private, civil and technological, under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Sports Activities and Vice President of the Sports Federation.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased announced that the results of the competition resulted in the student Islam Muhammad Atiya winning third place and the bronze medal in the 67 kg individual competition.
El-Kased stressed that the university encourages its students to participate in all student activities at the university and outside it and encourages talent in all fields out of its belief in the importance of student activities and their role in building students’ balanced and effective personalities in society.
The delegation was supervised by Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of Student Welfare, Captain Yasser Gamal, Director of Sports Activity, Captain Moataz Sadiq, Activity Supervisor, Captain Hamdi Al-Shaar, Male Coach, Captain Mohamed Abdullah, Female Student Coach, Captain Hossam Salah, Supervisor, and Hanadi Nabil, Supervisor of Female Students.
