Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, has issued a package of administrative decisions assigning a number of faculty members from various university faculties to serve as coordinators for several specialized units and offices.
These decisions come within the framework of strengthening the institutional structure, improving performance efficiency, and activating the role of specialized units in a manner that contributes to achieving the goals of sustainable development, advancing international university rankings, and improving the quality of services provided to students, graduates, and researchers.
The University President emphasized that these decisions are part of Menoufia University’s strategic plan aimed at empowering academic competencies and injecting new expertise into different work positions, thereby achieving institutional integration among units and enhancing the university’s competitiveness at both the local and international levels.
Prof. El-Kased also pointed out that the university places special emphasis on supporting international ranking files, sustainable development, innovation, graduate support, scientific publishing, and services for international students, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the pivotal role of universities in human development, supporting a knowledge-based economy, and strengthening international openness while developing a comprehensive institutional performance system.
The decisions included assigning Prof. Nora Abdel-Moaz Samri, Professor of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computers and Information and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, as Coordinator of the University Ranking Office.
They also included assigning Prof. Yasser Kamal Abdel-Moneim Ahmed, Professor of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, as General Coordinator of the International Students Unit.
In addition, Prof. Hady Saleh Saleh Abu Ashour, Professor of General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, was assigned as Coordinator of the Graduate Care Unit.
The decisions further included assigning Prof. Marwa Mohamed Nabil Gaber Attallah, Assistant Professor of Zoology at the Faculty of Science, as Coordinator of the Scientific Publishing Support Unit.
Prof. Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz Mohamed Issa, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Science, was assigned as Coordinator of the Technological Business Incubator.
Moreover, Dr. Reham Gamal El-Din Mohamed Ibrahim, Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Commerce, was assigned as Coordinator of the Marketing Strategies Unit.
Dr. Iman Talaat Abdel-Maqsoud Abu El-Kheir, Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law, was assigned as Coordinator of Sustainable Development at the University.
The decisions also included assigning Dr. Mohamed Alaa El-Din Mohamed El-Sebki, Lecturer in the Department of Genetics at the Faculty of Agriculture, as Coordinator of the Talented Students Discovery and Support Unit.
In addition, Dr. Mostafa Shehata Attallah Abdel-Salam, Lecturer in the Department of Print and Electronic Journalism at the Faculty of Mass Communication, was assigned as Coordinator of the International Relations Unit.
For her part, Mrs. Soaad Bayoumi, Secretary-General of Menoufia University, affirmed that the issued decisions reflect a clear vision by the university leadership toward developing the institutional work system and maximizing the utilization of academic and administrative competencies, thereby contributing to improving the quality of services provided within the university.
She also noted that the university’s administrative apparatus is placing all its capabilities at the disposal of these units and providing an appropriate organizational environment to enable them to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively, in a way that ensures integration between academic and administrative aspects.
