For the second consecutive day, “Anesthesia Secrets” continues its successful activities as part of the National Liver Institute Conference in Menoufia (NLICC 2026)
The specialized workshop “Anesthesia & ICU Workshop Secrets” successfully continued its activities for the second day, as part of the rich scientific program of the Annual Integrated Conference of the National Liver Institute at Menoufia University (NLICC 2026), with broad participation from medical professionals seeking to enhance their clinical skills.
On its second day, the workshop continued to present advanced scientific and practical topics, and was honored by the presence of Dr. Amani Ammar, Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, who praised the level of engagement and scientific enthusiasm demonstrated by the participants.
The training sessions focused on:
- Lung Ultrasound applications, presented by Dr. Ahmed Samy, Lecturer in Intensive Care, covering the latest protocols for diagnosing pulmonary infections and assessing diaphragm function.
- Echocardiography (ECHO) skills, presented by Dr. Ahmed Zarif, Lecturer and Director of Intensive Care at the University Hospitals, focusing on accurate cardiac function assessment and fluid management in critically ill patients.
The conference organizing committee managed the second day’s activities with high professionalism and precision, under the direct supervision of Dr. Menna El-Shafie, Head of the Anesthesia Department. Participants were divided into small working groups to ensure that each physician received hands-on practical training, reflecting the collaborative efforts of both organizational and medical teams to deliver a workshop worthy of Menoufia University’s reputation.
Commenting on the continued success of the event, Prof. Dr. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute, stated: “We are pleased with the strong momentum achieved on the second day of the workshop, which confirms that our strategy of focusing on hands-on training is the right path. We do not merely deliver lectures; we transfer the ‘secrets’ of the profession from senior experts to young physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care that meets global standards and serves Egyptian patients effectively, in line with the vision of the NLICC conference.”
