Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received this morning a large number of incoming male and female students from various Egyptian public and private universities, headed by Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Ghani, Head of the Central Administration for Incoming Students at the Ministry of Higher Education, and the accompanying delegation from the Central Administration for Incoming Students at the Ministry of Higher Education, in the presence of Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary-General of the University, Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the Liver Institute, Prof. Hossam El-Fol, Dean of the Oncology Institute, Dr. Ghada Ali, International Relations Coordinator at the University, and Dr. Mohamed Lotfy, Executive Coordinator for Incoming Students at the University.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, welcomed the university guests and incoming students of all nationalities; Stressing that the visit came to activate the presidential initiatives launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, "Study in Egypt", which pays great attention to attracting students from all over the world to study in Egypt. Praising the initiative that seeks to introduce young expatriates to the bright spots in Egypt through scientific visits, expressing his happiness that Menoufia University is one of the first universities to be visited, explaining that the university has distinguished national projects such as the National Liver Institute and the Oncology Institute.
El-Kased added that the National Liver Institute in Menoufia is one of the bright spots in the university and has a long history in providing advanced medical services in transplanting and treating liver diseases since its establishment in 1986 and is one of the first medical centers in liver transplantation, as it performed the first transplant operation in 1991.
The university president also shed light on the Oncology Institute and its new expansions, its capabilities and the treatment services it provides to a large number of patients in Menoufia Governorate and neighboring governorates, stressing Menoufia University's keenness to provide health care and make every effort in conducting scientific research that helps in healing cancer patients.
For his part, the Head of the Central Administration for Expatriates thanked Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, and the university staff for the effort made in a successful scientific, cultural, and social visit to the scientific institutions of Menoufia University in a practical and scientific visit to exchange scientific experiences and experiments.
The meeting witnessed the expatriate students studying in Egypt who speak Arabic, English, and French from October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), Delta University for Science and Technology, Horus University, Cairo University, Helwan University, Benha University, Tanta University, and the accompanying delegation of deans of colleges and coordinators from the Central Administration for Expatriates Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education.
It included a comprehensive presentation on the establishment of the National Liver Institute and a documentary film reviewing the achievements of the Liver Institute and the number of operations and scientific research conducted by the Institute with the participation of foreign, local and regional universities and the number of liver transplants and endoscopies, in the presence of a large number of deans and vice deans of faculties at Menoufia University and foreign universities, including

The students inspected all the corridors, departments and clinics of the Institute in order to learn about modern treatment methods and techniques as well as the future of liver transplantation in Egypt. The students also learned about the statistics of the honorable operations in the institute's journey.
The visit moved to the Oncology Institute, where they were received by Prof. Hossam El-Fol, Dean of the Institute, where they inspected the diagnostic and treatment mechanisms, as well as the latest diagnostic, radiological and therapeutic devices. The students inspected the institute's departments, diagnosis and treatment rooms, and they completed their mental image of the great medical edifice at Menoufia University in treating liver diseases and treating tumors.
