Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University organized a seminar under the auspices of Dr. Moawad El Khouly , the University President , and Dr. Ahmed Gamal El-Din , the  dean of the faculty discussed the treatment of critical cases for  children.

Dr. Fadi Al Gendy , head of the department of pediatrics   pointed out that the seminar dealt with the treatment of shocks to children and which led to  intensive care and how to treat them, especially the cases are caused by infection severe heart failure or poisoning bacterial or drought caused by lack of body fluids as well as how to diagnose cases of pneumonia critical situations associated with the use of respirators and how to treat them.

The seminar recommended the need to take necessary precautions when installing venous catheter for the child and the need to take a sample from the laryngeal tube of the child in the case of high temperature or a change in rates respirator when placed on a respirator to avoid pneumonia.
