Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, received the members of the Computer and Informatics Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, before they went to the College of Artificial Intelligence to hold their monthly meeting at the college headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf, Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence.

Mubarak welcomed the members of the committee headed by Dr. Iman Tharwat, professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Cairo University, and members of the committee, Dr. Yousry El-Gamal, former Minister of Education, and a group of professors of computers, information and artificial intelligence from various universities.

The president of the university confirmed that the faculties of artificial intelligence have become among the important faculties of society due to the tremendous development in information technology, one of the sectors of development, so the state and the political leadership pay great attention to establishing faculties of artificial intelligence and equipping them at the highest level. Human capabilities capable of managing the college and implementing various artificial intelligence applications to graduate generations capable of facing various challenges, keeping pace with the technology industry in the world, developing methods of using artificial intelligence in order to implement sustainable development goals, and contributing to the implementation of Egypt’s plan and strategy for artificial intelligence.

At the end of the meeting, Mubarak presented the university's commemorative shield to the committee, and it was received by Dr. Iman Tharwat, head of the committee.
