Today, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the activities of the second annual scientific conference of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Faculty of Medicine were launched, in the presence of Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Abdel Rahman El Sebaei, Dean The College and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Muhammad Habib, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qarsh, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Hussein Nada, Captain of Doctors in Menoufia, and Dr. Mostafa Salam, President of the Pharmacists Syndicate, headed by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahed, President The section is entitled "Iron in the treatment of skin and venereal diseases"


Dr. Nancy Asaad welcomed the attendance of the conference and conveyed to them the greetings of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, wishing him success in the conference and coming up with applicable recommendations. Vice President of the University in the program of the scientific conference and what it presents again to train young doctors.


Dr. Sobhi Sharaf also welcomed the attendees and thanked the university's medical sector and faculty members for their participation in the integrated convoys organized by the university, which contribute to providing medical services and health care to the people of the province and remote provinces.


He called on the faculty members of the college to prepare a health education course for the students of the College of Education, so that it would help them to accept their experiences for school students.


For his part, Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Sibai congratulated the Department of Dermatology for the distinguished scientific activity and the good organization of the conference, stressing that the department includes distinguished cadres of faculty members, and a large number of postgraduate students accept it.


Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahed, Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology and Chairman of the Conference, indicated that 3 scientific workshops were held during the conference, including Botox injections, skin peeling and fillers. Thirteen lectures and new research on the latest treatments for skin and reproductive diseases were discussed through 3 scientific sessions. Including diagnosing the sex of the newborn after birth, and new in the treatment of vitiligo, treatment of hereditary baldness, and alopecia, and new in pharmaceutical compounds such as the use of gabapentin in skin diseases, the use of TCA in skin diseases, skin atrophy due to methotrexate, and the use of GACA inhibitors. in dermatology.


The conference was attended by a large number of professors of dermatology and venereal diseases in Egyptian universities and the Ministry of Health and Health Insurance.
