Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting with the Permanent Committee to Activate Government Excellence Practices to determine what has been implemented in the university’s government excellence file, the most important activities during the past period, and the extent of their contribution to spreading the culture of government excellence in colleges.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed that the main goal is not just for government agencies to obtain the award, but rather to change the work culture in government institutions through a mechanism different from traditional mechanisms by focusing on training, awareness, and positive motivation, which contributes to achieving the goal of launching the Government Excellence Award.

El-Kased discussed with the Government Excellence Committee the most important mechanisms for achieving excellence by setting clear plans, the necessity of hard work, evaluating colleges, and focusing on sites of excellence, noting that we have great opportunities for excellence at the university, and there must be a future vision, spreading the culture of government excellence among university employees, improving performance, and practicing Providing distinguished services to obtain the satisfaction of service recipients.


The university president directed the deans of colleges to conduct training courses for the administrative staff on excellence, its importance, and how to practice it in university units.


The University President stressed the importance of the Equal Opportunity and Women’s Empowerment Award, which came in implementation of the mandates of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and in line with the National Strategy for Women’s Empowerment to promote the creation of a work environment in government institutions that is appropriate and safe for women and people of determination, and ensures equal access to opportunities and access to resources and services without discrimination, noting. 70% of the university’s administrative staff are women, in addition to female faculty members and students, and there are many successful models there.


This came in the presence of Souad Bayoumi, Director of the Central Administration of the University President’s Office, Dr. Alaa Radwan, the University’s General Coordinator for Government Excellence, Head of the University Award for Government Excellence Management Team, and members of the committee.
