Menoufia University Provides Free Medical Examinations for 530 Citizens in Kafr Sanglaf Medical Convoy and Delivers Awareness Seminars for the Village Residents

Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, the university organized a comprehensive medical convoy to Kafr Sanglaf, El-Bagour district, under the supervision of Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. El-Kased affirmed that Menoufia University is committed to enhancing the quality of comprehensive medical services and providing greater care for the most vulnerable groups in society. The university actively contributes to advancing health, social, and environmental development, in line with state plans and the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to implement presidential initiatives and provide medical and awareness services to citizens in the most underserved villages and areas within the governorate. This effort supports the university’s societal, developmental, and service role, fulfilling its responsibility toward all sectors of the community.

Prof. Sharaf stated that the convoy provided free medical examinations for 531 residents of the village through seven specialized clinics: 55 cases in Internal Medicine, 43 in Pediatrics, 45 in Family Medicine, 65 in Chest Diseases, 76 in Ear, Nose, and Throat, 76 in Orthopedics, and 83 in Dermatology. In addition, 88 villagers attended the awareness seminar.

The convoy was carried out with the participation of the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed El-Noomani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Haitham Maimoun, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Amal Shehata, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; and Prof. Rania Azmy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development. The event was held in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Administration, the Equal Opportunities and Population Units, the Child Protection Unit, the Decent Life Foundation, the Menoufia Directorate of Health Affairs, the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, and in the presence of Inas Afifi, Head of the Local Unit in Fishia El-Soghra; Amira Khodair, Public Relations Director and Director of Women’s Affairs and Child Protection in El-Bagour; and Rania Shahin, Deputy Director of Public Relations.

The convoy was organized by Iman Salah, Director General of the General Administration for Community Service; Rania El-Ahmady, Director of the University’s Integrated Convoys Administration; and Mohamed Abu Adas, Integrated Convoys Officer at the university.
