Important recommendations in the eighth Conference of Diabetes at Faculty of medicine , Menofia University.

the Diabetes and Endocrinology Unit at Faculty of Medicine , Menoufia University organized the eighth conference of Diabetes which is being held for the eighth consecutive year Under the auspices of Prof, Dr. Moawad Al Kholy the University president , Dr. Ahmed Nuncio Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Fouad Ghareeb , the acting dean of the college.

 

Dr. Nabil Al Kafrawy , the Unit Chief and the President of the Conference pointed out that the conference discussed over 6 scientific sessions 9 scientific lectures dealt with the new diabetes and cholesterol diseases and the methods of prevention as well as proper nutrition for diabetics and determine the effect of diabetes on the heart and blood vessels in addition to the discussion of cell stem transplant treatment bone marrow cells , and during the conference, President of the Conference stressed that Egypt is one of the largest countries in the world in that affected with diabetes in terms of number of infected up to 7 million patients, he also announced that the conference ended with many of the important ones recommendations is the need to equip health units in rural villages with medicine dissolving for saving clots patients stroke, heart attack before being transferred to the specialized work of cardiac catheterization centers in order to preserve the patient's life also recommended that the patient have to continue dealing with cholesterol drugs to protect against heart attack, along with the need for early detection of diabetes in order to avoid complications that may result and affect the rest of the organs of the body as the conference also recommended the need to treat diabetes in the intensive care to protect the patient and avoid the deterioration of his health.

The Conference was attended by more than 300 physician and professor of internal medicine in the Egyptian universities and the Ministry of Health.
