Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held an online meeting of the Scientific Research Account Unit's Board of Directors for the month of February, with the participation of committee members.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased began the meeting by congratulating the committee members and university staff on the approaching Eid al-Fitr. He prayed to God to grant Egypt and its people the blessed month of Ramadan and to continue the blessings of security and safety under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

During the meeting, Prof. El-Kased emphasized the need to follow up on the implementation of research plans at the university's faculties to address the various challenges facing Egyptian society in the economic, social, health, and environmental fields, and to activate the role of scientific research in addressing industrial and societal problems and the state's development plans.

El-Kased added that the committee approved the refund of tuition fees paid by some auxiliary staff members registered to obtain academic degrees and those registered for master's and doctoral degrees outside the university.

The envoy directed the colleges to increase the number of applied research projects with practical practical outcomes to serve the research process and students at the university, provide an attractive environment for scientific research within the colleges, and promote a culture of scientific research.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased noted that the committee approved the minutes of the previous session and discussed any new work.

The committee also approved a request from some university colleges to strengthen the research and experiments section to complete the research and experiments related to scientific research for faculty members and support staff.
