Menoufia University President Holds Online Graduate Studies Council Meeting

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired an online Graduate Studies Council meeting with the participation of deans and vice deans of graduate studies, committee members, Suad Bayoumi, Head of the Central Administration of the University President's Office, Doaa Fahmy, Director General of Cultural Relations, and Mohamed Zidan, Director General of the General Administration of Graduate Studies.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian people, and university staff on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the July 23 Revolution. He wished the Egyptian people and state further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased followed up on the progress of the university and college plans in the fields of scientific research and graduate studies at the university's faculties and institutes, as well as the progress of graduate studies exams and results at the university's faculties and institutes. He emphasized the need to overcome obstacles facing researchers and graduate students, resolve the problems of those who are struggling, and closely monitor student files.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased added that the session addressed topics related to the work of the General Administration of Graduate Studies and Cultural Relations. The committee approved the minutes of the previous session and reviewed the follow-up on the decisions implemented. The meeting also reviewed the annual and semi-annual reports of some graduate students registered for master's and doctoral degrees for the previous and current academic year. It also reviewed the scientific reports submitted by members of scientific missions and the scientific reports submitted by university faculty members on their attendance at conferences within the university and abroad at Egyptian, Arab, and foreign universities.

The university president indicated that 208 scientific research papers were recorded by faculty members across the faculties, including 12 individual papers and 196 joint papers, during the month of June, bringing the total number of published research papers at the university to 29,824.

He emphasized the importance of scientific research and international publishing, the need to promote published research, and the encouragement of applicable joint scientific research to serve society and achieve the state's goals and sustainable development.
