Prof. Ahmed Elkased, Menofia University President, made an official visit to Louisville University Hospital and Brown Oncology Center in Kentucky, USA; to explore collaboration opportunities in the fields of medicine, academic research, and internships, within the framework of Menofia University's intent towards globalization and academic exchange with international institutions.

The visit included field tours of advanced medical departments such as the Marrow Transplant Unit and Stem Cells Labroatory; in addition to meetings with the university's leaderships, to discuss collaboration in academic staff exchange, organization of training programs, support for joint research in oncology and targeted therapies, and digital transformation in the medical sector.

Elkased stressed the importance of this visit in fostering Menofia University's strategy to develop its hospitals and its Oncology Center, and benefiting from American expertise in offering health, educational, and research services that match international criteria.

The visit ended with joint rapport on fostering academic partnership, ahead of signing collaboration agreements in the near future; which would contribute to the transference of expertise and the development of medical education and health care in Egypt.
