During his visit to the United States of America, Prof. Ahmed Elkased, Menofia University President, attended a meeting at Louisville University, to explore collaboration and exchange opportunities, in the fields of engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence. Prof. Elkased attended the meeting as part of a delegate of Egyptian governmental and private university presidents, under the supervision of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education.
The meeting, attended by prominent academic leaderships at Louisville University and international educational institutions representatives, discussed the implementation of the joint study program, for two years, in Egypt, in the aim of globalizing higher education in Egypt and developing academic programs in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
The Egyptian delegate also met with Deans and Program Directors at faculties of engineering. They discussed collaboration opportunities in the fields of electrical, chemical, civil, industrial, and computational engineering; in addition to means of joint training and research support.
The event concluded with an official cermony, organized by the Internation Center at Louisville University, to confirm support of international academic relations and the willingness to receive Egyptian students and researchers.
