Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, today inspected the educational process at the Technical Institute of Nursing in Manshiyat Sultan. He was accompanied by Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Hind Hassan, Director of the Institute.
During his tour, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased inspected the classrooms, lecture halls, library, and laboratories.
The University President monitored students' practical exams for the second semester and their comprehension of the curriculum, which the university is keen to continuously update to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of nursing. He also provides the latest equipment, teaching methods, and training tools to ensure students receive high-quality education and training, preparing them for the job market.
El-Kased added that nursing institute graduates play a vital role in providing direct healthcare to patients, monitoring their condition, implementing doctors' instructions, and providing psychological and moral support to them and their families. Their specialized studies ensure they perform these tasks efficiently and professionally, which positively impacts the quality of care provided. He noted that a graduate's nursing technician diploma can serve as a starting point for pursuing academic studies in nursing colleges to obtain a bachelor's or postgraduate degree, providing them with opportunities for advancement.
It's worth noting that the institute, built on an area of 900 square meters, includes more than 10 training laboratories covering various specializations, student classrooms, and lecture halls, and accommodates more than 2,000 students.
