President of Menoufia University Chairs Personal Interviews Committee for the Annual Renewal of Positions of General Directors and Faculty Secretaries

The Leadership Positions Committee at Menoufia University, chaired by Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, conducted personal interviews for the annual renewal of a number of current General Directors at the University. The session was attended by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Zidan, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; Prof. Ashraf Tawfik Shams El-Din, Professor of Criminal Law and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development at Benha University; Prof. Ibrahim Mohamed Youssef Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Sadat City University; and Prof. Wael Zakaria El-Sawy El-Shenhaby, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Port Said University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

Prof. El-Kased explained that the committee interviewed approximately eight General Directors and Faculty Secretaries at the University. Each candidate presented a report on his achievements over the past year, along with a proposed plan for the future development of his respective administration or faculty. He pointed out that this process is part of Menoufia University’s strategy to enhance performance and achieve the highest standards of efficiency.

The University President added that the criteria for renewing the positions of General Directors include the ability to make decisions, solve problems, manage crises, demonstrate leadership and communication skills, and efficiently use information technology. These criteria are applied in accordance with Law No. 81 of 2016 and its executive regulations and subsequent amendments.

The interviews covered the following positions: Director-General of Libraries; Faculty Secretary of the Faculty of Specific Education (also seconded to the Faculty of Engineering in Menouf); Faculty Secretary of the Faculty of Computers and Information (also seconded to the Faculty of Engineering); Faculty Secretary of the Faculty of Home Economics; Director-General of Medical Affairs; Director-General of Strategic Administration; Director-General of Information Systems and Digital Transformation; and Director-General of Education Affairs.
