El-Kased Chairs the Committee for Selecting Senior Administrative Posts of Assistant Secretaries and General Directors at Menoufia University

Today, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the committee responsible for selecting candidates for senior administrative positions of assistant secretaries and general directors at the University’s General Administration and faculties.

The committee included as members: Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Zidan, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; Prof. Ashraf Tawfik Shams El-Din, Professor of Criminal Law and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development at Benha University; Prof. Ibrahim Mohamed Youssef Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Sadat City University; and Prof. Wael Zakaria El-Sawy El-Shenhaby, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Port Said University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

Prof. El-Kased noted that the committee is tasked with evaluating candidates for senior leadership positions, selecting the most qualified among the applicants, and assessing the performance of incumbents upon renewal.

The University President further explained that the committee interviewed 14 applicants today for the positions of Assistant Secretary-General, Director-General of the General Administration of Legal Affairs, and Director-General of the General Administration of Financial Affairs.

He emphasized that the University is always keen to select the most competent candidates for leadership positions—those capable of advancing work performance in line with the principles of efficiency and transparency. The aim is to appoint the most qualified and suitable individuals to assume leadership responsibilities at the University.

Prof. El-Kased added that the committee listened to the applicants’ proposals for managing the respective general administrations, their visions for development, approaches to achieving efficiency and timely completion of tasks, and their ability to make decisions and solve problems, in preparation for evaluation and nomination for these senior posts.
