Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, has issued seven new decisions for the appointment, renewal of appointment, and renewal of assignment of vice deans in various faculties. This step comes as part of the university’s commitment to strengthening its administrative structure, enhancing academic performance, and preparing for the upcoming academic year.

Prof. El-Kased urged the newly appointed academic leaders to integrate efforts to advance the educational system in line with the rapid changes in higher education worldwide, ensuring that students gain the maximum benefit from the learning process, while also serving the community and advancing scientific research. He wished them continued success in their roles.

The decisions included:

• Appointment of Prof. Emad Mohamed Abdel-Halim El-Khouly, Professor at the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, Faculty of Home Economics, as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

• Appointment of Prof. Khaled Ali Abdel-Rahman, Professor at the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, Faculty of Home Economics, as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

• Appointment of Prof. Mohamed Abu El-Yazid Sadeq, Professor at the Department of Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, as Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research until reaching the statutory retirement age.

• Renewal of appointment for Prof. Said Mohamed Abdel-Ati, Professor at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development for a three-year term.

• Renewal of appointment for Prof. Gamal Mahrous Ali Atiya, Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Science, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs for a three-year term.

• Renewal of assignment for Assoc. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Kafafy, Associate Professor at the Department of Data Science, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, to act as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs until the end of the 2025/2026 academic year.

• Renewal of assignment for Assoc. Prof. Mina Ibrahim Samaan, Associate Professor at the Department of Machine Intelligence, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, to act as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development until the end of the 2025/2026 academic year.
