The Rector inspects El Raheb Farm on Field Day.

 

The Rector Dr. Meawad Al Kholy accompanied with the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Adel Al Beltagy , Dr. Shaaban Al Shamarka , Dr. Osama Ali Mohamed , and Dr. Mahmoud Soliman inspected El Rahb Farm which includes thirty feddan planted with wheat and alfalfa as a research and productivity farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Menoufia University, on the field day to see all the experimental research for students of the master's and doctorate and bachelor.

The tour included viewing the experience of a graduation project for fourth graders to cultivate about 16 varieties of wheat in a mini-experiment to compare the yield of these varieties and collect data.

Dr. Moawad praised the projects of the students of Faculty of Agriculture and the experiments of the faculty members in the crop department, which includes the experiments of the bean, the thermos and the weed resistance experiment in different ways.

At the end of the field day, the new buildings of the students' college farm, were visited by the rectors and his companions   which includes modern farms for animal, fish and poultry production and a group of stands and modern laboratories.

Field Day was  under the patronage of the Rector , Dr. Moawad Al-Khouli, and supervised by Dr. Adel El-Beltagy Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.
