Healthy Nutrition in Ramadan

Under the auspices of Prof, Dr. Meawad Al Kholy, the Rector and Prof, Dr. AbdulRahman Qurman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development the Department of Convoys at Menoufia University organized an awareness convoy in a collaboration with  Faculty of Nursing to the health Unit at Ganzour Village that affiliated to Beket Al Sab`aa Center. The convoy discussed the bases of healthy nutrition and the important components of foods which are necessary for the body and also how to keep our energy during fasting hours . the members of the convoy from faculty staff have emphasized that the breakfast meal is the most important one during the day because of its effective role on keeping the body organs , in the same context they emphasized on the importance of eating foods that enrich with antioxidants , vegetables , fruits, lemon ,orange ,meat and foods riches in calcium like dairy products ,eggs , beans ,vegetable papers as well as the importance of moderate eating , and not eating large amounts of it , avoid over eating fats, sugars . the participants also pointed to how to avoid constipation  and  bloating during the month of Ramadan by following the tips proper eating habits by eating vegetables daily, good food, drinking water, drinking tea and coffee, drinking anabolic chamomile after breakfast and eating more dates. The convoy also dealt with ways of transferring the infection and how to limit it in health units and hospitals. With the participation of  Dr. Samah Mohamed Abdul Ghaffar and Dr. Siham Mohammed Abdul Alim.
