The Rector Dr. Adel Mubarak signed a cooperation protocol with the Arab Universities Union represented in General Secretary of the Union Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama , the Former Minister of Higher Education , in the presence of the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Research Dr. Ahmed Al Kased , Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Nancy Asaad , and General Secretary of the University the Accountant Akram AbdelDaiem.
The rector emphasized that this agreement aims to follow the rapid development in field of quality in higher education, the two sides are keen on improving awareness and providing all that is new to follow up new updates in this field , provide training and qualifying the academic personnel in fields of quality and accreditation.
Mubarak pointed out that the terms of the agreement stipulate holding joint training activities such as courses, conferences, seminars and workshops in all fields of quality in higher education and accreditation, the activities will take place at the headquarters of any of the two parties, and the two parties are obligated to prepare a program of training activities and scientific material and nominate lecturers, in addition to preparing an estimated budget for the activities, and determining the financial equivalent for each activity according to the number of theoretical and practical training hours, and certificates will be granted to the participants in the training courses, indicating that the center responsible for implementing the activities of the agreement is the quality assurance center at the university.
