In a continuous follow-up of the Corona virus crisis , the University President  Dr. Adel Mubarak, met Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs and Accountant Akram Abdel Dayem, Secretary-General of the University and some of the deans of colleges to follow up the implementation of the plan set by the university to face the crisis and limit  spread of infection.

Mubarak indicated to the decision of the President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to suspend university studies for a period of two weeks as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, and the university's mechanism to implement a distance education plan and raise lectures on the websites of colleges, and communicate with students to guide them with links to publishing lectures and communication methods to achieve benefit for students , Adding that the plan for submitting lectures electronically also includes postgraduate students as well during this period, and discussions continue for scientific theses that have been scheduled in advance with guidance to reduce attendance numbers

The President of the University discussed the possibilities of providing technical support to faculty members in all colleges to enable them to use the websites of the colleges and social media to provide lectures to students.

Mubarak also stressed the exploitation of the vacation period for students and the start of sterilization and disinfection of all university buildings and facilities that will start tomorrow morning at the compound of theoretical colleges, and follow up the development of posters with preventive measures to limit the spread of the virus, and distribute publications to all university units.

Mubarak reviewed the procedures that must be followed in case of any suspicion and ways to communicate with the Ministry of Health to report it.
