Launching the initiative of practicing sport and promoting the exit from the Corona crisis in Menoufia University

The initiative of practicing sport and promoting the exit from the crisis of Corona, organized by the sector of community service and environment development in the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University, was launched within the sector's plan and programs under the auspices of Dr. Adel Al-Sayed Mubarak, the university's president.

Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Dean of the Faculty of Education, stressed the importance of this initiative, which is among the series of educational and cultural programs offered by the sector to serve the community.

 

The dean of education pointed out that we started to feel the brightening of life, and we are still living under the effects and consequences of the Corona crisis amid precautionary measures, and that spreading  such initiatives aims at lifting the state of suffering and easing the pressures on our students, families and members of society.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi, the College's undersecretary for Community Service and Environment Development, stressed that these initiatives should be offered to provide students with real support to get out of the Corona crisis and its psychological impact on students through the programs we broadcast.

Dr. Mahmoud pointed out that practicing sport makes one another thing; sport makes one's soul and mind comfortable, spreads the spirit of joy and makes us more capable of resisting pressures, mental cohesion, conscience and mentality This is to counter any life pressures and to remove the concern that affects the human soul.

The meeting was hosted by Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Gharib, a teacher at the Faculty of Mathematical Education, Menoufia University, who confirmed in a speech that sport has a great psychological dimension that benefits man from fast getting out of any crisis.

Exercise must be maintained in the midst of precautionary measures, before and after training, and the exercise must be sterilized, the exercise equipment and the equipment must be kept at least 2m away, and the gym should be chosen to be ventilated.

Dr. Mahmoud Gharib said that there should be a minimum of 20 minutes of exercise from 3 to 4 days a week, which will further strengthen the disease-resistant body immune system as well as the benefits of sports, by stimulating the blood circulation of the body and by promoting itself, by eliminating anxiety and tension, and by social communication of individuals.
