Under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the general supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and under the supervision of Dr. Walid Hussein Talaat, Director of the Department of Mobile and Public Service, and in cooperation with the Egyptian Youth Association for Development and Environment headed by Dr. Mamdouh Rashwan, funded by and sponsored by the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program.

the university is  launching the e-waste recycling project, implemented by the Egyptian Youth Association for Development, under the supervision of Dr. Emad Adly, the Regional Director.

The project is being held in cooperation with the University's UNESCO Club within the framework of the presidential campaign "Be Prepared for Green", and it is hosted by Menoufia University in its first edition.

Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, received the e-waste collection fund at the headquarters of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Dr. Nancy Asaad handed him the shield of Menoufia University in appreciation of the fruitful cooperation between the two parties.
