Menoufia University hosted a celebration of the Ibn al-Sabil program at the Misr al-Khair Foundation on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Ibn al-Sabil program at the foundation. Under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. And in the presence Brigadier/ Medhat Gamal, the first director of the Ibn al-Sabeel program at the Misr El-Kheir Foundation, Hani al-Zayat, General Director of the university cities, Ayman al-Mashaikh, director of the Student Activities Department, and with the participation of students from university cities in Beni Suef, university cities in Menoufia, and the house of international students in Al-Azhar.

Dr. Nancy Asaad, in her speech, thanked the association for its continuous support and contribution to Menoufia University, stressing that the university extends a helping hand to all students and that solidarity is available to university students who are unable.

The Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs indicated that the protocol of cooperation between the university and the Misr El Kheir Foundation began about 8 years ago in implementation of the Ibn al-Sabil project, and the Foundation bore the expenses of some students who were unable to live in university cities.

The celebration included singing, poetry and theatrical sketches.

At the end of the celebration, the following were honored:

Hani El-Zayat, Director General of Cities, and Laila Hashem, City Director, in the role of Yahya, a housing specialist in the city.

Dr. Nancy presented the university's shield to Brigadier/ Ahmed Gamal, who presented Dr. Nancy with the foundation's shield.
