The Environmental Excellence Committee at Menoufia University for the second semester begins its tour today in five faculties

The Environmental Excellence Committee at Menoufia University started its first round for the second semester by inspecting the faculties of (science - commerce - law - computers and information - and physical education) to follow up on the application of environmental standards and their availability within the faculties, within the framework of the environmental excellence competition for university faculties, which is organized by the community service and development sector The environment is under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, the president of the university, and the supervision of Dr. Abdel-Rahman Al-Bagouri, the university’s president’s advisor for community service and environmental development affairs.

Today, the committee inspected the environmental conditions within 5 scientific entities at the university, namely the faculties of science - commerce - law - computers and information - and physical education to follow up the efforts made within them in terms of the availability of environmental standards and their suitability for work.

 

The committee indicated that these standards are represented in the university halls and their qualifications to accommodate students, the regularity and quality of the educational process, in addition to the availability of appropriate educational means, the extent of attention to cleanliness, especially in cafeterias, and areas related to student breaks in colleges and their importance to environmental requirements, quality of products and materials provided to students and green spaces. And the extent of their availability in colleges and means of hygiene in bathrooms and toilets, and attention to their purification, as well as stores and laboratories.

The committee included: Dr. Hassan Khattab, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Milad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Nermin Ihsan, Vice Dean of the National Liver Institute for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Wael Fakhry, General Manager Environmental Projects, and Mr. Alaa Fathi, General Manager of Community Service, and Engineer Suhaila Ibrahim, General Manager of Maintenance.
