Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held this morning the session of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs for the month of June 2022 “online” with the participation of the members of the Council, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Bagouri, Adviser to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Vice Deans for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and General Director of Community Service Affairs, and general manager of environmental projects.

Mubarak began the session by thanking the community service and environmental development sector, all colleges and everyone who participated in organizing the ninth environmental week, praising the level of organization, events and important seminars that took place, which discuss important issues for the development and preservation of the environment.

Dr. Abdel-Rahman El-Bagoury presented a detailed report on the activities of the ninth environmental week, which included seminars and scientific sessions on climate change, new and renewable energy, the national strategy for climate change in Egypt, sustainable environmental energy in light of Egypt’s 20/30 vision, and presented the recommendations that came out of the week, and follow-up Implementation and implementation in practice.

Mubarak resumed the session by following up on the decisions of the previous session of the council, and briefing the members with the report on the seminars that took place in the faculties, which included a symposium on the role of the media in confronting negative social phenomena, a symposium on industrial crafts and economic returns, and a report on what was done at the meeting of the integration coordinators of universities in the middle of the Delta.

The members were also briefed on the report of the nursing convoys to the village of Denshwai with the martyrs, the village of Martyr Fikri in Birkat Al-Sabaa, the convoys of the Faculty of Home Economics to the Elderly Club in Shebin El-Kom, the nursing home in Seif Mosque in Shebin El-Kom, and the agricultural convoy to the Agricultural Association to the village of Bakhati.
