Under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.. Today, Dr. Salwa Fouad, General Coordinator of Expatriates at Menoufia University, headed to the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, where she met with Dr. Kholoud Rashid Matar, Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Cairo.


In the meeting, Her Excellency welcomed Dr. Salwa Fouad, the general coordinator of expatriates at the university, where the general coordinator presented and clarified all the activities and services provided by the administration of expatriates to students and the great interest in taking care of them and containing them in the faculties of Menoufia University, as well as the advantages of joining the university and facilities in residency and passport procedures.


She also indicated that the university offers a 20% discount on tuition fees and that the basic study system at the university is the credit hour system in most faculties without any increase in expenses, and that special programs (with fees) are characterized by competitive prices compared to other universities.


A detailed video was shown about Menoufia University and its various faculties, and a video of the university's housing system.


Dr. Kholoud Matar emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness on modern technical disciplines, especially cybersecurity, as well as interest in the disciplines that care for people with special needs.


- Program for preparing a computer teacher for people with special needs in the Faculty of Specific Education.


- Cognitive and Communication Sciences Program at the Faculty of Arts.


- Special Education Teacher Preparation Program at the College of Education.


- Preparation program for the special education teacher (mental disability) at the College of Early Childhood Education.


It was also emphasized that there is a specialization in cybersecurity at the College of Artificial Intelligence, and a specialization in cybersecurity engineering and data analytics in the College of Electronic Engineering, as well as the programs of the College of Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Food Science, Renewable Energy, Surveying, Medical Engineering, Health Science Technology Programs and Occupational Therapy Programs.


Dr. Salwa Fouad confirmed that the university does not hesitate to provide a distinguished educational service to its students and to pay attention to all the new and distinguished disciplines that suit the labor market, and that the university in its various faculties is in full swing to receive international students in the academic year 2022/2023 and that preparations for their reception have already begun.


Some problems related to Bahraini students enrolled at Menoufia University were also discussed, and some facilities were provided to work on solving them.


In support of the relations between Menoufia University and the Cultural Attaché of the Kingdom of Bahrain, shields were exchanged to express the bonds of good relations and the university's support for all Bahraini students.


The meeting was attended by Professor Mahmoud Aref, Academic Affairs Officer at the attaché, and Professor Ghada Abu Al-Saud, Director of Expatriates Department at Menoufia University.
