Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held the Menoufia University Council session for the month of June 2022, in the presence of council members, Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Students, and Accountant Jalal Abdel Salam Amin General of the university and deans of faculties.

Mubarak began the session by offering sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and to the masses of the Egyptian people on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the June 30th Revolution.. the revolution that began with the will of the Egyptian people towards a better future, and which put Egypt on the right track on the path of the new republic and the achievement of sustainable development, wishing All the progress and prosperity of the Egyptian state under its political leadership.

Mubarak thanked Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and acting Minister of Health, for his efforts in the Menoufia University Medical City project within the development system in the health sector in Egypt, which he presented to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, during the opening activities of the first African Medical Conference.

Mubarak also congratulated all university employees for entering Menoufia University for the first time in the Dutch international classification "CWTS Leiden University" issued on June 22, 2022, where Menoufia University ranked 25th in Africa and 1104 globally in the Dutch classification, which included 30,000 universities globally this year, including only 10 Egyptian universities, expressing his happiness with this new achievement, stressing that the fields of physical and engineering sciences, medical and biological sciences, mathematics and computer sciences have contributed to this progress, and the last field is the most contributing to the occupation of Menoufia University an advanced rank in the Dutch classification Where it ranked fourth in Africa and second locally, which is a new achievement added to the university and places it among the elite of international universities, as well as excellence in Egypt and Africa.


The president of the university presented the most important events and activities of this month, including participation in the opening activities of the President of the Republic for the project of the animal and dairy production complex in Sadat City.

Participation in the technical celebration organized by Menoufia Governorate on the occasion of its National Day under the patronage and presence of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, at the Shebin El-Kom Culture Palace, in the presence of a number of members of the House of Representatives, the Senate, businessmen and a group of executive and popular leaders, civil society organizations and bodies, union leaders, journalists and media professionals, and a large gathering of The people of the province, congratulating all the people of the province on this anniversary.

And the decision of the Association of Arab Universities to choose Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Council for Sustainable Development in its fifty-fourth session for a period of three years from 2022 to 2025.

Mubarak congratulated each of: the College of Medicine on the occasion of the College’s Clinical Skills Laboratory obtaining the accreditation of the American Heart Association as an accredited international center for giving basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses and preparing trainers to give these courses, and the Menoufia University team participating in the “Top One for Universities Art Centers” competition under the auspices of the Minister of Youth and Sports On the occasion of winning the first place in the competition, Menoufia University teams participating in the "Ibdaa 10" competition held on the Cairo University theater in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Minister of Youth and Sports.

Mubarak informed the members of the letter of the Supreme Council of Universities, which includes the periodic book issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers regarding the rationalization of all travel work outside the country, starting from the date of the beginning of June, except in cases of extreme necessity or the inviting party bears all travel costs.

And regarding the activation of the Thinqi Education Management System agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank for the benefit of Egyptian universities with the officials operating the system at the Center for Electronic and Knowledge Services, Mubarak directed the deans of the faculties to give a branch to the candidates for training (2 faculty members from each faculty) from any business. The actual training days until the training is completed with the desired efficiency, and alerting the candidates to the need to follow up on their e-mail before the start of the training, as training instructions will be sent from the Supreme Council of Universities on it.


During the session, the President of the University thanked Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, for her efforts at the head of the work team that worked hard to open the door of outpatient clinics to the community of the governorate’s residents to examine various medical specialties at reduced prices, stressing that this achievement comes within the framework of community service and the university’s plan. To develop the medical sector system and contribute to providing medical and treatment services to the public at low prices and with high quality.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, the University Council agreed to disburse a reward of 1,000 pounds to all employees of the administrative body and the supporting body, and the President of the University congratulated all the students of the university on this fragrant occasion.

Mubarak confirmed that the work of the second semester exams will be followed up until they are completed, praising the progress of the students.
