Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held an emergency “online” university council meeting to follow up on preparations for the start of studies at Al-Menoufia National University, where it was decided to start studying in it next October in the academic year 2022/2023, based in the Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road, Barakat El-Sabaa Center, through two study programs: Planning and Smart Cities Construction (Faculty of Engineering), and the Internet of Things and Big Data Analysis (Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence).

The president of the university discussed with the members the required numbers and the value of expenses for each program, where the council agreed to determine the value of the academic expenses for the academic year in the smart city planning and construction program (50,000 pounds), and the Internet of Things and big data analysis program (40 thousand pounds) in one academic year, stressing that This value is not equivalent to the actual value of educational programs, as the state has shouldered the major cost, which exceeded billions, within the framework of the directions and vision of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to expand the establishment of private universities to provide an educational service that keeps pace with the fourth generation universities, and is not aimed at profit, but student expenses are re-pumped to be used In the maintenance and modernization of laboratories and the development of the educational system.

The President of the University expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his great and continuous efforts to develop educational programs, expand new programs to keep pace with the needs of the labor market away from the usual traditional disciplines, and provide greater opportunities for university education based on international partnerships with internationally ranked universities.
