Menoufia University organized an educational awareness symposium entitled "Youth and the challenges of the age under the new republic" under the auspices of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Bagouri, Advisor to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Hassan Khattab, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development, and rapporteur of the symposium.

The President of the University welcomed the Grand Mufti in the university campus, and thanked him for accepting the invitation to be present among the students and to deliver the important awareness seminar, which comes from the university’s role to educate young people about various challenges, refine their knowledge, develop their culture and their national awareness.

Dr. Adel Mubarak stressed the importance of preparing young people properly and working on developing their personal qualities and deepening their mental and cultural capabilities and their national awareness to graduate a generation capable of taking responsibility, and from here comes the role of the university in paying attention to student activities that contribute to raising awareness in various fields and motivating them to participate positively. Effective in various activities, stressing that building the person and preparing the individual for the future is a priority for the attention of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, because young people are the builders of the future.

Mubarak appealed to the students for the necessity of young people to preserve their country, especially that what is happening on its land of national projects and many initiatives have reached the point of miraculous, and the importance of contributing to making the future and moving at a fast pace towards the new republic.

In the speech of the Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Ibrahim Allam, he thanked Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, deputies and deans of faculties and faculty members, and saluted the students of the university, which has left many generations since its establishment, to enrich scientific, intellectual and cultural life in Menoufia Governorate and other governorates.

Greetings to Egypt, which is taking confident, capable and blessed steps at a time when the countries of the world are going through difficult circumstances. Nevertheless, Egypt is advancing in all fields, specializations, axes and files.

He stressed that what is happening in Egypt in terms of achievements is similar to the extraordinary, so all the greetings to the scholars and intellectuals for the sake of building the dear homeland, and a tribute to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, who works day and night for Egypt.

He explained that there are many challenges and many arrows directed at young people to keep them away from their sound thinking of the orthodox religion, and great challenges must be made in immunizing the self, and the availability of a correct awareness that builds, builds and bears fruit, not a corrupt awareness that leads to destruction and sabotage and takes the mind to a destructive side, and specialization must be respected by going To the specialists for clarification, enlightenment and education in all areas of life.

At the end of the symposium, the university president presented a commemorative shield to the Grand Mufti in appreciation of his participation in the symposium.
