Today, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of Menoufia University, met with the members of the New and Renewable Energy Research Center to study ways of lighting the university with solar energy, under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University.

Sharaf discussed ways and means of lighting the theoretical complex and the university hotel with solar energy and the required budget as a new, renewable and environmentally friendly energy. Sharaf also called for organizing a symposium on green hydrogen and how to produce it, in order to activate the presidential initiative, “Prepare for Green.” This is in addition to discussing what has been prepared for the New and Renewable Energy Conference for the year 2023. .

The meeting also resulted in the need to organize training courses for making solar cells, increasing their production at the lowest cost, and generating biogas.
