Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting of the Central Library and University Libraries Committees with the participation of committee members online via electronic meeting platforms

 

The head of the committee started by congratulating the university's employees and members of the committee on the anniversary of Isra and Mi'raj

 

The two committees followed up on the decisions that were implemented, and the agenda of the two sessions was discussed

 

El-Kased explained that the two committees reviewed the activities and events carried out by the libraries of the university's colleges and institutes during the month of January

 

El-Kased confirmed that the topics related to the work of the general administration of the university libraries, the central, digital, audio-visual library, what has been accomplished in terms of library inventory work, the new addition of books, periodicals and encyclopedias that were purchased from the book fair, and what the digital library offers to researchers from faculty members, assistant staff and students Graduate Studies

 

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased Ali confirmed that a technical support team will be formed to assist the libraries of the new faculties, in addition to forming a committee to evaluate the libraries of the university’s faculties and institutes to choose the best library, in addition to forming a technical committee to evaluate old books in some libraries and the possibility of benefiting from them in scientific departments.
