"Boats of Survival" is a presidential initiative in Menoufia Education

Within the framework of the state's efforts to combat illegal immigration, and based on the cooperation protocol concluded between Menoufia University, the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, and the National Council for Women, the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University, organized the activities of the presidential initiative under the slogan "Boats of Survival" under the auspices of Dr. University President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision and presence of Dr. Fatiha Batikh, Dean of the College.


Dr. Nancy Ali emphasized the importance of developing society's awareness of the danger of illegal immigration to Egypt's youth, which is the most important segment within Egyptian society.


In a related context, Sharaf added the need to search for ways of safe migration, while providing positive alternatives such as training young people and providing job opportunities for young people, especially in the governorates where the phenomenon of illegal immigration is spread, including the 14 governorates, including Menoufia Governorate, in addition to playing the pioneering role of youth. Which the state plays a major role in activating while facing all the risks that threaten society.


Dr. Nahed Ghoneim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Sahar Abdel Sattar, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women, Menoufia Branch, participated in the initiative.


Dr. Heba Al-Ghotmi, Director of the Center for Adult Education and a member of the National Council for Women, in the presence of a large number of male and female students of the college. The training was conducted by Dr. Nisreen Saeed Mustafa and Dr. Rehab Al-Shaer, accredited trainers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they trained the students through dialogue groups and panel discussions.
