Under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, and Dr. Nancy Youssef Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the general supervision of Dr. Muhammad Jamil Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, the General Administration of Student Welfare organized the Department of Social Activity and Trips, the second group to visit landmarks The cities of Luxor and Aswan, the youth train for students of university faculties in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as part of the Know Your Country program, which is organized by the Central Administration for Youth Development (General Administration of Universities) at the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the level of Egyptian universities

Shaheen pointed out that participating in the Know Your Country trips program aims to increase cultural awareness and acquaintance among university youth, visit archaeological and tourist attractions, develop a spirit of loyalty and belonging among students, and encourage domestic tourism in our beloved Egypt.

Mohamed Khattab, Director of Social Activity and Excursions, added that the university’s cohort consisted of 30 male and female students and supervisors from all university faculties, during the period from 10/2/2023 to 17/2/2023. The western one in Luxor, and a visit to the High Dam, the Nubian Museum, the Temple of Philae, the island of plants, and the Nubian village in Aswan
