Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and in the presence of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, received Amira El-Rifai, Executive Director of the Ataa Charitable Investment Fund, and Nabil Ezzat, Deputy Director of Housing and Resource Mobilization at the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services, in order to follow up on the joint work between them regarding the implementation of the funded Egyptian universities project. From the Ataa Fund, which aims to make the buildings and facilities of Menoufia University available to people of determination for ease of movement and to facilitate movement on campus.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased confirmed that the university pays great attention to students with special needs, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his keen interest in people with special needs and disabilities in Egypt, and the state’s efforts to empower and integrate people of determination. The president of the university discussed various means of cooperation that can be implemented in partnership. between the three parties in order to achieve a humanitarian and social goal represented in empowering people of determination, activating their integration within society, and accessing services provided to them in an equal and fair manner without any discrimination, in addition to providing specialized rehabilitation services and providing kinetic, visual and audio devices without a fee to encourage their participation in all aspects. life.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of creating a new cooperation protocol that includes various means of cooperation and services that can be provided to students of determination at the level of health and social services and various developmental works.
