Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received Professor Toru Yamashita, Professor and Head of the Department of Neuroscience, Faculty of Medicine, Okayama University, Japan, during his visit to Menoufia University within the framework of the cooperation protocol concluded between the two universities and the exchange of visits between them.
The President of the University welcomed the Head of the Department of Neurosciences at Menoufia University, expressing his happiness with this meeting and visit, which witnessed many important events to exchange experiences between the two universities, especially in the field of neuroscience.
Dr. Toru Yamashita expressed his happiness with this visit and reviewed what happened during the day, as he visited the College of Medicine and was received by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sibai, Dean of the College, and Dr. Rasha Al-Qabbani, Head of the Department of Psychology and Neurology at the College, where he gave an important lecture on new methods of diagnosing dementia using various devices, artificial intelligence, and a therapeutic strategy New stroke, dementia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, praising the size of the audience and the benefit achieved during the symposium from the exchange of experiences and treatment methods.
He also visited the National Liver Institute and was received by Dr. Hisham Abdel Dayem, Dean of the Institute. He inspected the liver transplantation unit, praising the value of the institute at all levels, and the outstanding results achieved in the liver transplantation unit.
He concluded his tour today with a visit to the Faculty of Science. He was received by Dr. Adel Nassar, Dean of the Faculty, and he inspected some of the faculty's departments.
