This morning, the Second Community Service Week Festival at Menoufia University, organized by the Community Service Sector, was launched under the auspices of Dr. The former university and Dr. Shawky Al-Sabbagh, former dean of the Faculty of Commerce and chairperson of the session, and a large number of deans and vice-faculties, Ihab Hegazy, Director of the Enterprise Development Agency, Muhammad Al-Alimi, responsible for the non-financial services agency at the Enterprise Development Agency, Rana Al-Tanbadawi, Project Manager at On Root Development Company (Be a Pioneer Initiative)


Dr. Nancy Ali emphasized the importance of achieving financial independence for every student and graduate, developing students’ thinking, directing them to entrepreneurship, encouraging new ideas and turning them into small, medium and micro projects, with the aim of advancing development, achieving profits and self-reliance in creating jobs that are compatible with the capabilities of every graduate who is coming to life. The process emphasizes the need to be bold and persevering in implementing ideas and achieving the desired goals.


Sharaf expressed his happiness and appreciation to all those organizing the activities of the festival, primarily the university students, for their efforts, whether for the university or the outside community. Entrepreneurs, which include some relevant government agencies; Business incubator, some scientific bodies and some non-profit organizations.


The activities of the first day of the festival included educational and scientific seminars on entrepreneurship and what is provided by the Enterprise Development Authority, which develops medium, small and micro enterprises. To develop a national program for the development of projects and create the necessary climate to encourage them.


In another context, Dr. Farid Wagdy, Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit at the university and Vice Dean of the College of Applied Health Sciences for Community Service and Environmental Development, presented a medical symposium on first aid, eye diseases, how to avoid risks and work injuries, and how to deal with them to avoid exacerbating injuries, stressing that good knowledge of first aid contributes greatly In order to avoid the deterioration of the patient's health, he provided practical experiences for her.


On the sidelines of the festival activities, Dr. Nancy Asaad and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf inaugurated the second Community Service Week exhibition, which included the products of university students in the faculties of Specific Education, Childhood Education and Home Economics. And Dr. Amr Al-Kishki, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood, Dr. Sherif Sabry, Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics, and the colleges’ vice deans for community service affairs participating in the exhibition, Dr. Milad Ibrahim, Dr. Iman Khamis, and Dr. Siham Aziz


The ceremony concluded with honoring Dr. Sobhi Sharaf for all participants in the festival's activities by presenting certificates of thanks and appreciation, in appreciation of their efforts in the festival in particular and community service in general.
