Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the Huawei Academy at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf was honored at the third annual Huawei Capacity building ecosystem conference in the communications and information technology sector organized by Huawei Technologies Egypt, for the academy’s obtaining the first place at the level The Republic has 80 public and private academies.

The conference was attended by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Jim Liu, CEO of Huawei Egypt.

The College's honor was received by Dr. Muhammad Barbar, Head of the Department of Engineering and Computer Science, on behalf of Dr. Ayman Al-Sayed Amira, Dean of the College.

Dr. Marwa Shoman, Director of the Huawei Academy at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf, was honored as the best academy director at the level of the Republic's academies.

Dr. Al-Husseini Ibrahim was also honored as the best ai instructor at the academies level, Dr. Marwa Sharaf as the best big data instructor at the academies level, and Eng. Mervat Saeed as the best network instructor.

The student Ahmed Fawzy, who won third place in the world in the global Huawei competition in the field of cloud, was also honored by the student Ahmed Fawzi, who won the platinum medal for the Huawei competition for the year 2021-2022.
