Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Measurement and Evaluation Center, in the presence of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hayam Mostafa, Director of the Center, Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Deputy Director of the Center, and Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Director of the Electronic Tests Unit. At the center, accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the University, Alaa Fathi, Director General of the General Administration for Community Service, and Asmaa Refaat, an administrative official at the center.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased emphasized the importance of the Measurement and Evaluation Center and its role in improving the educational process and preparing the university teacher well.
The university president also emphasized the importance of training and improving the performance of the university teacher, holding specialized training courses to provide him with various skills, and defining the target of these courses accurately, in addition to setting a clear training package when appointing teaching assistants in colleges.
El-Kased praised the medical education program implemented by the College of Medicine in training, indicating that a department for medical education will be established in the college.
Dr. Nancy Asaad also explained the importance of preparing question banks and reviewing them by specialists, their connection to the teaching content, the necessity of applying electronic tests in all university faculties, and holding courses to set MCQ questions.
Dr. Hayam Mustafa, Director of the Center, reviewed the goals of the Center, including developing the infrastructure and expanding the construction of question banks and electronic correction, in addition to qualifying human cadres, evaluating consultations, analyzing results, and preparing periodic reports.
