Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, the Leadership Development Department, in coordination with the Military Education Department of the university, under the supervision of the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command, visited the panorama of the October War. With the participation of 30 male and female students, including people of determination, the students were accompanied during the visit by Colonel Ah Hani Muhammad Mossadeq, Director of the Military Education Department, Tariq Kamal, Director of the Leadership Preparation Department, and Enas Nofal, the regiment’s supervisor. The officers appointed to receive the university delegation were in the reception of the delegation.
During the visit, a documentary film was shown about the stages of preparation for the October War, up to the stage of defiance and steadfastness, the stage of attrition, the stage of crossing and the October victories.
A video film of those stages was also shown on an oil painting, which is the largest oil painting in the world. The delegation conveyed the greetings of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, to the officials of the place for their support for such visits and for all branches of the armed forces because of their consolidation of the values of loyalty and belonging to our students and their insight The size of the sacrifices made by the Egyptian army to restore the beloved Sinai
The students made an inspection tour of the place, during which Colonel Ah Hani Muhammad Mossadegh explained to the students the weapons participating in the glorious October War for our forces and the enemy forces.
At the end of the visit, the Leadership Development Department extended its thanks and appreciation to the leaders who carried out this visit, who were in the reception and escort of the delegation, and to Colonel Ali, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, for the good organization of the visit.
