Dr. Sobhi Sharaf emphasized the importance of training workers on how to face disasters and crises, and the university's keenness on the safety of all its employees, pointing out that the university held many workshops and training courses on how to face crises, explaining that this workshop comes within the framework of the university's keenness to protect students and workers from Any dangers, especially in light of the current circumstances and the exposure of some countries to earthquakes

Dr. Farid Wagdy pointed out that the symposium dealt with how to confront earthquakes, stressing the role of the crisis management unit at the university in spreading the necessary awareness and training workers and students on emergency and evacuation plans, adding that the workshop dealt with defining earthquakes and aftershocks and the importance of monitoring and early warning to confront earthquakes and take action safe during an earthquake
