The Menoufia University delegation participated in the celebration of Martyr's Day, the "37th educational symposium" for the Armed Forces, in coordination with the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and in the presence of His Excellency the President of the Republic, at the Al-Manara Center in Cairo, which embodies the highest meanings of giving and the national spirit loyal to Egypt's loyal soldiers, as Egypt regains heroism and glories in this celebration. Its heroes and salutes the souls of its martyrs who gave their lives as a gift of sacrifice for the homeland.

The Leadership Development Department of the General Administration for Student Welfare participated with 45 male and female students in the celebration of Martyr’s Day under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and general supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration, under the auspices of students and executive supervision Tariq Kamal, Director Leadership development management.

They mention Martyr's Day, which Egypt celebrates on the ninth of March of each year, in commemoration of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim Riyad, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, during the War of Attrition, in honor of him and all the nation's martyrs, and as an expression of appreciation and reverence for the martyrs and their families.
