Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the Faculty of Dentistry organized an awareness seminar and a medical convoy within the framework of the college’s celebrations of the World Oral Health Day, under the supervision of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development

Where the college's youth welfare, in cooperation with the Students for Egypt family, organized a medical convoy to the Girls' Institution in Shebin El-Kom.

Dr. Rabab Mubarak indicated that the convoy comes within the objectives of the Faculty of Dentistry to spread awareness of oral and dental health care among all segments of society and its age groups, and as a continuation of its celebration of the International Oral and Dental Health Day.

She also emphasized that the success of the dentist in attracting children, gaining their trust, and communicating with them in a sound scientific way is the basis for the success of dental treatment for children using local anesthesia and avoiding children's exposure to general anesthesia.

Dr. Ahmed Adel, a teacher of oral medicine and periodontal medicine, participated in the convoy, where he gave an awareness lecture on how to care for the mouth and teeth, Dr. Mahmoud Younis, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qadi, Dr. Hadi Kamal and Dr. Rasha Muhammad, where they signed a medical examination for the institution’s girls and diagnosed cases.

The college also presented some gifts to the house, including foodstuffs and clothes, and Signal provided toothpaste samples to the girls.

The Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Dentistry organized an awareness symposium entitled "Children and Oral and Dental Health" in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, Menoufia University, and supervised by Dr. Rabab Mubarak, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Amal Shehata, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Rania Azmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. Dr. Mostafa Sweidan is the pioneer of the Students for Egypt family

The symposium discussed how to deal with children, the best ways to receive them in the dentist's office, how to encourage them to take care of their oral and dental health, and how a visit to the dentist for children is an entertaining and enjoyable visit, and the doctor can easily accomplish his work.

The symposium also dealt with the importance of milk teeth in children, how they develop and grow, and the role of the nursing staff in the primary health care units by educating mothers about the need to follow up with the dentist from the first day of the appearance of teeth in the child’s mouth.
