Menoufia University succeeds in liberating (4997) citizens from illiteracy in the January 2023 session

Menoufia University liberated illiteracy (4997) male and female citizens in the January 2023 session through the chapters that were contracted by the departments of the General Authority for Adult Education, bringing the total number of citizens who have been liberated from illiteracy by students of Menoufia University since 2014 until now 53585 citizens, male and female, in various villages and governorate centers Menoufia, as well as outside the governorate of Menoufia, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service Affairs and Director of the Adult Education Center at Menoufia University.
El-Kased praised the active participation of the students of Menoufia University in the presidential initiative, Egypt without illiteracy within the activities of the Decent Life Initiative, and the efforts of the Egyptian state under its wise political leadership to improve the level of all services provided to the most needy villages, and the emphasis on the Egypt without illiteracy initiative because it represents a national issue that must be Confronting and eliminating it, stressing the university's readiness to provide all aspects of support to its students to play their role towards this important issue, which comes within the priorities of university work during the coming period, within the framework of the university's social and national responsibility towards the country.
Sharaf pointed out that the university adopted the initiative of villages without illiteracy some time ago, and the students participated in the integrated convoys organized by the university to the villages of the governorate to eradicate the illiteracy of the people. He thanked the Center for Adult Education and all the colleges participating in the national project for literacy and adult education.
