Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received in his office this morning Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, on his first day assuming his duties as Vice President of the University, congratulating him and wishing him success in his work duties.
The President of the University visited the Vice President of the University in his office and handed over the duties of his position to him. The rector reviewed the broad outlines of the sector’s tasks and the various units it includes, stressing the importance of this sector to the university, researchers and faculty members, and emphasizing his full support for the sector and its workers, pointing out the importance of continuing the work. El-Kased also stressed the importance of scientific research, linking the research product to industry, directing scientific research to serve society, and confronting the challenges facing economic growth, in order to achieve the state’s sustainable development goals (Egypt Vision 2030), explaining the importance of the societal and service role of universities in the fields of industry, agriculture, health, and technology localization. And other fields, and its role in supporting industry and transforming research ideas into products with economic returns for society. He expressed his hope to hold many cooperation protocols with companies and factories in the governorate to modernize and develop industries through scientific research at the university.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced the issuance of a presidential decree appointing Dr. Hazem Ibrahim Mustafa Saleh, Professor of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the University’s Faculty of Engineering, and former cultural and educational advisor to Egypt in the United States of America and Canada, as Vice President of Menoufia University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
