Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, made an inspection visit to the Faculty of Information to follow up on the college’s preparations for the new academic year. He was accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The University President was received by Dr. Nadia El-Kady, Dean of the College, and Dr. Adel Refaat, Vice President of the College for Postgraduate Studies. and scientific research, and Dr. Sherine Al-Beheiri, the college’s dean for community service and environmental development, the faculty members and the supporting staff, and Tahani Hafez, the general director of the college.
The President of the University inspected the college’s laboratories and studios, including the editing laboratory, the graphics laboratory, and the radio and television studios. The rector inspected the auditoriums and teaching halls, and was assured of the presence of faculty members and students and the regularity of lectures. He welcomed the new students and students of the various teams and congratulated them on the new academic year, wishing them success and excellence.
The President of the University also congratulated the family of the College of Media and the students for the great effort made to advance and improve the college, praising its academic and technological capabilities, praising the college’s studios for recording radio and television interviews, the press and graphics laboratories, teaching halls and auditoriums, and praising the College of Media’s equipment to receive the new academic year, stressing the importance of exploiting These distinctive capabilities of the college convey a positive media image to Menoufia University and the governorate, and create distinguished training opportunities for students.
Fourth-year student Aya Qandil also conducted a television dialogue with the university president, in the first dialogue from within the studios of the Faculty of Information, within the framework of practical training for students. The dialogue dealt with the university’s preparations to receive the new academic year and Menoufia University’s endeavor to reach an advanced classification among Egyptian and Arab universities. And the future prospects of the university in all fields.
During his dialogue,El-Kased stressed that the Egyptian state is a young country and that youth are the pillar of the Egyptian state, the basis of its strength, and its path towards advancement and progress, and that the university is keen to support its students during study and after graduation, praising the university’s various sectors, the university’s capabilities and its distinguished staff.
