Dr. Ahmed El-Kased , President of Menoufia University, held a monthly meeting with the deans of colleges “online” with the participation of the Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, for community service and environmental development, and Dr. Hazem Saleh, for graduate studies and research, in order to discuss the topics that need to be studied before presenting them to the next university council, and to follow up on the progress of work in the colleges.
The university president began the meeting by congratulating all the university's students and employees on the approaching month of Ramadan, may God bring it back to everyone with goodness, right and blessings.
The President of the University followed up on the regularity of studies in the second semester in all colleges, the regularity of lectures in accordance with the previously announced study schedules, and the registration of students for academic subjects in colleges that operate on the credit hour system, directing the rapid completion of the announcement of all results of the first semester exams.
The University President briefed the deans on his inspection visit to Menoufia National University to inspect the progress of work at the university and follow up on the regularity of studies in the second semester of the current academic year.
The University President congratulated the Menoufia University mobile team participating in the activities of the 31st session of Egyptian university mobile phones and mobile phones held at Tanta University, where the university team achieved the first levels in all areas of competition and won the first level in the session.
Congratulations to the Menoufia University team participating in the “Emerging Technologies Hackathon to Empower People of Determination” competition on the occasion of winning first place in the health and sports track. The competition was held at Benha University under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation with the National Academy for Information Technology for People with Disabilities and the Information Technology Institute.
El-Kased also expressed his happiness with the victory of the Menoufia University team participating in the Ibdaa 12 competition in the field of community initiatives in the preliminary rounds of the competition and the team’s rise to the final rounds in the “Charity Pharmacy” and “Don’t Walk Alone” initiatives, which were organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. Higher education and scientific research, under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, at the level of Egyptian universities, higher institutes, and government academies.
El-Kased pointed out that Menoufia University hosted the Egyptian Universities Wrestling Championship organized by the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation as part of the activities of the 51st Martyr Al-Rifai Course for Egyptian universities and higher institutes during the period from February 6 to 8 with the participation of 23 universities. The results resulted in a victory for the students of Menoufia University, where the student Muhammad won. Mustafa Al-Shami took second place in the 97 kg weight, student Abu Bakr Al-Sayyed Jad Al-Mawli took third place in the 130 kg weight, student Shawqi Ashraf took third place in the 77 kg weight, student Khaled Salah El-Sherbiny took third place in the 67 kg weight, and student Abdul Rahman Ahmed Nabawi took third place.
