Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Medical Service Fund, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Head of the Central Administration of University Hospitals, Dr. Iman Abdel Samie, Deputy Director of the Liver Institute, Dr. Ashraf Medhat, Director General of the Medical Administration, and members of the committee.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased began the council by congratulating the faculty members, staff, and students on the night of the middle of Sha`ban and the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, calling on God Almighty to bring them back to us and our country with goodness and blessings.

El-Kased indicated that the minutes of the meeting of the previous session were approved and the follow-up of the decisions that were implemented was informed, in addition to discussing and studying the financial position of the Fund and ways to develop the medical services provided by the Fund in the coming period.

The Council also reviewed the medical services provided by the Medical and Therapeutic Administration to students in the university hospital departments, the Medical Administration and the National Liver Institute at the university, and the services provided by the Fund to accept and transfer students to receive treatment in contracted hospitals.
