Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University and President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the University’s Supreme Committee for Computers and Information, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Hatem Sayed. Ahmed, Dr. Muhammad Saafan, Dr. Ayman Omira, Dr. Hassan Aliwa, and Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf, deans of the faculties of computers, information, engineering, electronic engineering, sciences, and artificial intelligence, and the executive director of university information, and Dr. Issam Shawqi, supervisor of e-learning, and engineer Shaaban Mansour, general director of the Information Center.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased began the meeting by congratulating the members of the committee, university employees, and the Islamic nation on the month of Ramadan, praying to God to accept everyone’s good deeds and to maintain security and safety in Egypt and its people.
The University President also congratulated Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari on the issuance of the presidential decree appointing him as Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, wishing him success in his work duties.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased praised the role of the committee, its direction, and the activation of its role in a satisfactory manner during the past months, noting that the meeting discussed the implementation of the comprehensive plan to digitize the university and the vision for developing information technology in accordance with educational and administrative requirements in light of the electronic management of institutions, and its connection to electronic services in the rest of the institutions. the university .
El-Kased indicated that the meeting discussed what has been taken to update the university’s electronic portal (Portal), the current services expected through it, and the formation of a work team that will be responsible for the content in the English language. He explained that updating and developing the website comes within the framework of implementing the strategic plan of Menoufia University that supports the policy of Digital transformation, developing the university’s website and maximizing its use electronically, is one of the criteria for raising the university’s global ranking
The university president added that during the meeting, the position of uploading data on the university’s global classification and the work teams for the various classifications was also presented: THE, QS sustainability, QS Arabic, “Arab Universities Classification,” pointing out the importance of the availability of the element of availability and digital transformation, and the availability of infrastructure and technology. Updated and strong database, in addition to developing curricula and evaluation methods as one of the criteria that must be met to raise the ranking of Egyptian universities in international classifications.
The committee also approved the minutes of the previous session, and discussed the committee’s agenda, including the proposal to institutionally list the university’s colleges and institutes on link in, and presented the letter of thanks received from the Supreme Council of Universities regarding the speedy completion of work for Menoufia University.
